3 out of 5 stars Oxi   July 25, 2010

I bought this because i thought the first one I purchased didn't work.
It measure my normal oxygen and pulse. accurately I suppose, but doesn't catch my husband's due to the low blood supply to his gnarled fingertips.

5 out of 5 stars The Finger Pulse Oximeter MD300C13N is a great buy!   March 11, 2010

The Finger Pulse Oximeter MD300C13N was a great investment! And it did not cost nearly as much as other models, but performs very well! I use it frequently on a daily basis to monitor blood oxygen levels and it has never failed!

4 out of 5 stars Very good   March 5, 2010

I got this right before entering the hospital. It stayed pretty much in check with all the RT and CNA oximeter checks. Sometimes the O2 would be 2% higher than the hospital ones. But for being $45 I think its ok to use as a guide. I don't know if it would work in a hospital setting or if you need it precise. This is a good one for your money, and very affordable...especially compared to other brands. Just don't rely on it to be exact, unless you compare against higher rated ones (ie dr office) and it shows to be the same, then you can.

1 out of 5 stars DOESN'T WORK!!   January 20, 2010
Michelle H. (houston, texas United States)
i'm very disappointed. this does not give accurate readings. i've changed batteries twice hoping that was the issue but it isn't. I get very inconsistent and inaccurate readings. i don't even know what to do with it... it's basically a piece of garbage. without accurating readings, there's not point keeping it or using it.

i do not recommend you purchase this item. you'll be very disappointed and faced having to reorder another one elsewhere, like me.

Very good product for the price, just be sure to wait a moment for the SPO2, it tends to change very quickly at first.
